No MOT for over forties

11th December 2017

From 20 May 2018 most vehicles over 40 years old (on a rolling basis) will no longer be required to undergo an annual MoT test in the UK, advises the DVSA. This brings the MoT test exemptions in line with those currently applied by DVLA for VED. Selected vehicles including some specials, those which have been hugely modified and commercial / PSV vehicles over 40 years old used for hire and reward will still require appropriate testing.
