I am pleased to inform Club members that the following arrangement has been agreed with the RAC and VCC of GB (London to Brighton Veteran Car Run Steering Group).
Following the successful trial in 2018, future London to Brighton Veteran Car Runs (LBVCR) will include Class 1 pre 1905 Motor Cycles, the entry being limited to 15 machines at present.
It is now stipulated that all machines entered must be on the Sunbeam Club Pioneer Register, their Pioneer Certificate number is to be quoted on their entry form.
Any machine which is not already on the Pioneer Register must apply to the Sunbeam Club for approval and registration prior to applying to enter the LBVCR.
The Sunbeam Club’s Pioneer Registrar will be asked to confirm that the Date and Pioneer Register Certificate number is correct before the entry is accepted.
This arrangement is now in place to ensure the RAC organisers of the LBVRCR that the machines entered are genuine, similar to the arrangement with the VCC for pre 05 cars.
Club members with pre 1905 machines should apply to the LBVCR organisers as soon as entry forms are made available to avoid disappointment due to the limited entry number available.
