Graham Walker Memorial Run

Introduced in 1962, this event is run in memory of Graham Walker who was, for many years Sunbeam Club Chairman and later President. He was also a top Sunbeam and Rudge works rider. He won the 1928 Ulster Grand Prix and was an ex TT rider for Sunbeam's. Appropriately, this event starts from the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu where he was the first motorcycle curator.

Originally the awards were presented by Graham's widow Mrs. Elsie Walker for over 33 years but are now presented by Murray Walker or Vice President of the Club, Lord Montagu.

Marshalling is kindly provided by the Southampton and District Motor Cycle Club.

This is lovely event for riding a veteran motorcycle or for those first starting out with a vintage motorcycle due to the flat countryside. The run takes riders throughout many of the well known places in the New Forest.
